Why rebuild all the old data processing and analysis errors into the converted database?

In our experience, conversions are very often a case of moving from a single user to a (networked) multi user system. From a data input standpoint, automatic conversion fails to address issues that need to be faced by this type of conversion.
How we go about the Job of Conversion
Send us the Specification or your existing database, and we will tell you how much the conversion will cost and the likely time scale. We will also tell you what changes, the new system would benefit from.
If you have a design team, we will work with them in developing the new sytem.
We will undertake to develop a system capable of being further developed by your own staff if you prefer this.
The process of conversion will help you to re-assess the use of the system and will leave senior members of your team with a clear understanding of its operation and purpose.
When sending 4.53 database files, the following may help:
DBM files are data, DBA files are forms, DBR files are Procedures and DBF files are data-entry forms. Extensions starting with the letter I ( capital i - e.g. .I03 ) and .TMP files, are not required by us.
If your data is highly sensitive, we will help you to make an empty database copy.
If you have built more than one database in the same directory, refer to the 5th letter in the 8 character file name (excluding the file extention) to establish files belonging to the same database set.
